Welcome to my Kitchen!

As often as possible you will find new recipes, that I have found on the internet, from others and some that are family favorites. Most are easy and use common ingredients found in most kitchens. Not all pictures are taken by me, but I do add my own pictures as soon as I can after I have made the recipe and remember to take the picture. Pull up a chair, help yourself to some coffee and make yourself at home. Please leave a comment, I appreciate feedback. Thank you.

Broccoli Raisin Salad

2 pounds fresh broccoli cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
3/4 cup seedless raisins
3 or 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/3 cup sunflower nuts
1/2 to 3/4 cup Miracle Whip  salad dressing
1 or 2 tablespoons cider vinegar (you be the judge)
2 tablespoons sugar or to taste, I used Splenda

Combine broccoli, onion, and raisins and set aside.  Mix the salad dressing, vinegar, and sugar. Toss with salad, chill until served, at least 2 hours. Just before serving add the crumbled bacon and sunflower nuts. Makes about six servings. Enjoy!
