Welcome to my Kitchen!

As often as possible you will find new recipes, that I have found on the internet, from others and some that are family favorites. Most are easy and use common ingredients found in most kitchens. Not all pictures are taken by me, but I do add my own pictures as soon as I can after I have made the recipe and remember to take the picture. Pull up a chair, help yourself to some coffee and make yourself at home. Please leave a comment, I appreciate feedback. Thank you.

Craisin Bran Muffins

2/3 cup craisin's
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c.  Bran Flakes
1 1/4 c. milk (skim, if you want)
1 egg
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside. Measure Bran Flakes, craisin's, and milk into mixing bowl. Let stand 2 minutes. Add egg and oil. Beat well. Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined. Pour into greased muffin pans. I like to sprinkle the tops with cinnamon and sugar before baking. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Makes one dozen.
