Welcome to my Kitchen!

As often as possible you will find new recipes, that I have found on the internet, from others and some that are family favorites. Most are easy and use common ingredients found in most kitchens. Not all pictures are taken by me, but I do add my own pictures as soon as I can after I have made the recipe and remember to take the picture. Pull up a chair, help yourself to some coffee and make yourself at home. Please leave a comment, I appreciate feedback. Thank you.

Crescent Chicken Squares

If I had not eaten this fabulous dish first, I would not have made this recipe. But upon eating it I found it to be a wonderfully delicious entree'. One that my family would love. It's easier to make than it sounds and it is bound to get rave reviews from your family too.
Enjoy!!

Savory Crescent Chicken Squares

1  3 oz pkg. softened cream cheese
2 Tbsp milk
3 Tbls. melted butter
1 Tbls. chopped chives or green onion
2 c. cooked chopped chicken
1 8 oz. can crescent rolls
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
       …………………………………..
Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Blend cream cheese and 2 TB butter until smooth. Add next 6 ingredients; mix well. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top center of chicken mix. Twist slightly and seal the edges. Brush top with 1 Tbls. melted butter.

Bake on ungreased sheet for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Make a sauce by heating cream of mushroom soup mixed with 1/2  can of milk, and pour a ladleful  over squares just before serving.
