Welcome to my Kitchen!

As often as possible you will find new recipes, that I have found on the internet, from others and some that are family favorites. Most are easy and use common ingredients found in most kitchens. Not all pictures are taken by me, but I do add my own pictures as soon as I can after I have made the recipe and remember to take the picture. Pull up a chair, help yourself to some coffee and make yourself at home. Please leave a comment, I appreciate feedback. Thank you.

Turkey or Chicken Tetrazzini

7 ounce  spaghetti broken into thirds
2 cups cubed cooked chicken or turkey
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 med onion chopped
2 cans sliced or chopped mushrooms, drained or fresh cooked
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 tsp of salt if you think it needs it, I leave it out
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook spaghetti, drain. Transfer to a large bowl: add the rest of the  ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese if desired. Bake uncovered at 375º for 40 to 45 minutes or until heated through.

** I substitute my home made cream of mushroom soup (found on this blog) for the canned to lower the sodium and cut the cheese in half as well. It is still very good.
