Welcome to my Kitchen!

As often as possible you will find new recipes, that I have found on the internet, from others and some that are family favorites. Most are easy and use common ingredients found in most kitchens. Not all pictures are taken by me, but I do add my own pictures as soon as I can after I have made the recipe and remember to take the picture. Roll out sugar cookies




 2 cups butter  
 2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
 1 1/2 cups sugar     
5 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder 

 Preheat oven to 350º
Mix butter, eggs, surgar and vanilla well.  Add flour and baking powder and mix well.
      
Roll our onto flour surface and cut into desired shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 8 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. 

 Frosting:

 1 tsp of vanilla or almond extract   
 4 cups powdered sugar      
 1/3 c softened butter       
1/4 cup milk               

Cream flavoring and butter.    Add sugar and milk alternately  until desired consistency. Frost cookies. Decorate any way that you like.
