Welcome to my Kitchen!

As often as possible you will find new recipes, that I have found on the internet, from others and some that are family favorites. Most are easy and use common ingredients found in most kitchens. Not all pictures are taken by me, but I do add my own pictures as soon as I can after I have made the recipe and remember to take the picture. Meatball Casserole

Meatball Casserole

Ingredients:

1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch thick slices
1 (8 oz.) package softened cream cheese,
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1-lb. pkg. fully cooked frozen meatballs, thawed Or your own recipe
1 (28 oz.) jar favorite spaghetti sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Arrange bread slices in a single layer, to fill completely, in a non greased 9x13 baking dish. (You may need to tear some pieces of the bread to fill all the gaps in the pan)
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise and seasonings.
Spread mixture over bread.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
Gently mix together spaghetti sauce and meatballs. 
Evenly spoon over cheese. Getting meatballs spread as evenly as possible.

Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes.
