As often as possible you will find new recipes, that I have found on the internet, from others and some that are family favorites. Most are easy and use common ingredients found in most kitchens. Not all pictures are taken by me, but I do add my own pictures as soon as I can after I have made the recipe and remember to take the picture. Easy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:
2 3/4 (scant) cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter,  very softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract


Directions
  • Preheat oven to 375º . In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, dip into sugar, press down slightly with two fingers,and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
